Introducing the new Kia Seltos: Elegant, reimagined, and primed for any adventure.

Kia’s latest crossover is set to captivate customers with innovative design elements, coveted technology features, and a range of powerful engine options.

In the highly competitive subcompact SUV segment, the Kia Seltos is ready to make a bold statement. Boasting a stylish exterior, premium interior, intelligent safety features, and unparalleled ease of ownership, the Seltos resonates with a new generation of car owners seeking an SUV that transcends the ordinary.

In the Philippines, the new Seltos stands out as one of the most evolved, secure, and intelligent SUVs on the market. With its contemporary design and a comprehensive safety suite, including the advanced ADAS features unique to its segment, the Seltos sets a new standard for SUV technology.

Designed for those who embrace life on the move, the Seltos showcases a refined design both inside and out. Thoughtfully revamped exterior details with futuristic shapes and technical accents distinguish the Seltos in the crowded field of small SUVs. The larger grille emphasizes width, complemented by new LED headlamps and distinctive Star Map signature lighting.

Rigid shapes on the front bumper contribute to a more confident and rugged stance, while vertical-shaped fog lights integrated with daytime running lights provide a cleaner look. The rear lighting design mirrors the front signature lighting, and a new geometric wheel design adds a touch of modernity.

Step inside, and the Seltos’ interior exudes a futuristic vibe with bright screens and clean, geometric shapes. The standard dual panoramic displays, a segment-first, combine the 10.25-inch instrument cluster and 10.25-inch center display, creating a modern cabin centerpiece. Notable interior enhancements include a new crash pad with a bold center garnish, high-tech interface controls, a panoramic sunroof, dual auto A/C, wireless charging, and mood lamps. The top trim level features advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like Smart Cruise Control and Forward Collision Assist.

The new Seltos offers three variants and two engine choices:

  • New Kia Seltos 1.5 LX: P1,198,000
  • New Kia Seltos 1.5 EX: P1,288,000
  • New Kia Seltos 1.4 Turbo SX: P1,688,000

Catering to diverse needs, the 1.5L MPI engine prioritizes fuel efficiency and performance, while the 1.4L turbocharged engine provides a sportier driving experience.

The Seltos LX and EX variants come equipped with 8” touchscreen audio, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Rear-Camera Display, driver and front passenger airbags, 6 speakers, and single-zone auto A/C. The Seltos EX adds Smart Entry + Push Start, Power Fold Side Mirrors, LED headlamps, and DRLs. The top-tier Seltos SX features Smart Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, mood lamps, leather seats, power driver seats, a 10.25” infotainment touchscreen, front and side airbags, panoramic sunroof, mobile phone wireless charging, 10.25” TFT LCD Instrument Panel, LED Headlamps, LED Foglamps, and LED DRLs.

    The Side Tripper

“Make sure you don’t take any side trips,” warns Schumler, from a phrase in the 1993 American film Swing Kids. If you are someone who does not have time to lose, then it is better for you to stick to your main agenda, because there is something about side tripping that submerges the soul in experiences that sometimes make you hope that time would stand still, as the experiences they bring can be more impactful than the main trip itself. It is that free flowing agenda, an unexpected sleepover or a detour that has unintentionally brought pleasant surprises. You can live without it, like you can eat a cake without its icing, but your journey may not be as meaningful. If travel is the ‘best medicine for the heart’,* then for me, side trips are secret ingredients to the most memorable travels and other events that can happen in between or off the main route of one’s itineraries.
